A very nice deal for the price. King Size during the high season for only 150 RMB, less during the low season -- and that includes a balcony. Tillie, the manager, speaks English well.

Peace Hotel
The Peace Hotel has bugs on the wall, but don't let that keep you away. The bugs are painted on with a caligraphy brush, and look good with the classical Chinese furnitire of the hotel. A nice little budget hotel off of west street.
