Angkot Pasar Raya Traditional Bundo Kanduangs dress. An art deco style building built by the Dutch during the colonial era in the 19th century. This building located in the old part of Padang, the capital of West Sumatera. Part of the old Chinese temple in Padang built in 1861 by the first Chinese settlers in this area. A very common sight in West Sumatera's countryside: villagers herding their buffaloes on the street. Female and buffalo are symbols of the ancient Minangkabau.
