His novel "Four Reigns" was originally a serial in the Siam Rath (an evening newspaper which he edited). It is the story of an inner court (harem) educated Thai woman and her family which spans the reigns of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) to King Ananda Mahidol. Gives a fascinating account of life in and outside of the palace and provides insight into Thai people and their culture.
