Description:

A sprawling park built between Wutong mountain to the east and the Shenzhen reservoir to the west with quite a lot for nature & cultrue lovers. The majestic Hong Fa Buddhist temple (the largest in Shenzhen) is built into the side of a mountain and looks over much of the rest of the park. There are also number of specific botanical areas in the park, including an enclosed cacti & succulents greenhouse, a bonsai garden, an aquatic garden built right on Fairy Lake, a Magnolia garden, a bamboo forest, and a petrified forest composed of fossilized trees from Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang.
