Hotel is overated and expensive. It is old, but the rooms are comfortable. Food is expensive, I recommend dining out of hotel. The bar is very expensive. Recommend seeking entertainment in the old city. You can walk there. I stay at the Veerachai Court, 19 Thapae Road, Soi 2, Chaing Mai 50300:(053) 251047-54: fax: (053)252402. From outside Thailand the number is 66.53.251047-54. Recommend renting a room in the new building. It is very nice, comfortable, near everything, and there is a small store in the building that sells almost everything you need from beer to pins, rice, chips, milk, bread, the list goes on. I stayed here from May 30, 2003 to July 13, 2004.
