Long before Seven Pounds drew our collective attention to the jellyfish, I had developed an admiration for the graceful creatures. Therefore when I had a chance to see them up close in Hong Kong, I could hardly contain myself.

Hong Kong's Ocean World was famous for the Giant Pandas and the great dolphins, which were entertaining no doubt. Also awesome was the aquarium that housed the stunning sting rays and sharks among other marine marvels. But what emerged as the clear winner was the little talked about jellyfish enclosure.

With every stage of its lifecycle on display, the jellyfish cast magic on the viewers. What we witnessed was grace in motion -- blooms of jellyfish in choreography with classical symphonies of the west while the lights sprayed rainbows on their diaphonous mushroomesque hoods.

I stood almost transfixed capturing as much as I could with my mind and with the phone -- since my camera battery packed up just as I was leaving for the park. As they sashayed across the tank waters a red light shone on them, highlighting a darker side, which made clear one thing -- beauty came with st(r)ings attached!

A most fabulous enclosure, it is a must do item for anyone visiting Hong Kong. It is a must, even if you're on your nth visit!
