First time in Singapore

Last year 2008, I went to Singapore together with some of my good friends. Singapore is a bit like Philippines. It is warm and sunny. We've spent our first day doing some shopping. The fashion there is also much like in the Philippines. People are wearing shorts, skirts, sando, sandals anything that will make them feel fresh and comfy. Whenever we're hungry we always choose to eat out and try different singaporean dish and specialties like Hainanese chicken rice and satay, stingray barbeque served on banana leaf wit chili and some other local dishes that you will see in the local center around singapore. And If u have a sweet tooth, dont hesitate to grab any of their cool refreshments and tasteful deserts. You will also see a lot of Filipino workers in restaurants, hotels and mall. You will spot them with their very accomodating smile. Singapore, can actually be a 2nd home for filipinos. We can easily adapt to their whether, culture, trends and technologies as well as their type of cuisine. This country is very clean and well disciplined. If you happen to visit singapore for the first time, dont forget to always follow their rules.
