A raft ride on the Yulong River (near Yangshou) is one of the most relaxing adventures one can undertake. Particularly at early morning the landing place and the river is not overcrowded. Locals are on their way to the fields close to the river bank and temperature is still kindly.

The ride can be combined with a bycicle tour. The bikes can be carried on the bamboo raft convienently and so the nearby fields and small roads can be discovered easily.
