Cambodia has been a place i've desired to visit for many years, along with the rest of Southeast Asia. In my photographs i'm particularly drawn to conveying the feeling of the atmosphere and daily life of the city. Culturally the Cambodians are managing to survive but just barely it seems. As an enthusiast of Cambodian classical dance I always make it a top priority to visit (usually several) to the Apsara Arts Association while in town. Changes are happening quickly in the city as in the rest of the country. It's my hope that the things of the past that have aesthetic as well as cultural value will be able to not only be preserved but act as springboards for the flowering of the country and its people.
