About the Author:

Ong Siew Chey received his education in Chinese at Chung Ling High School, Penang, Malaysia. He became interested in Chinese literature in his early school years. He attended The University of California at Berkeley and subsequently the University of Chicago School of Medicine where he obtained his M.D. He was trained in surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals. Prior to his private practice, he was Professor and Head of Surgery at the University of Singapore.
