The people I met in Dalian, P.R. China

I was on my holiday visiting my former colleague in Dalian, China, for 2 weeks.  Big city with very friendly locals.  I was offered a job in the same hotel - Holiday Inn Dalian, a 4-star hotel in Finance Department.

When I came back to Dalian on 12 February 1994, my connecting flight from KL to Kai Tak airport in Hong Kong took a little bit longer than usual as per the airport service personnel.  I had my sandwich and coffee in Windows of the World restaurant.  I wanted to add some ketchup to my sandwich and the bottle was close (from what I see) and it's normal that people shake the new ketchup bottle before we can pour the ketchup, but this time, it gave me shock..when I  shook the bottle, the content went out from the bottle and landed on another diners (on his head and his WHITE short!!!).

I apologize to him and dont know what to do after that.  The ONLY thing that he asked from me was to watch his bags while he went to change in the restroom!

I did and apologize again and again to him when he's changed.

Long story short - we headed to our bording gates and carry on with our flight.  When I reach the hotel, to my shock (again), the same guy with the ketchup on his head is staying in the hotel I am going to work!  Guess what?  He has been staying there for sometime...

Mr. R. Julian, if you happens to read this article, write to me...I hope you still remember me...

Hey, you know, I have been thinking of visiting China myself... your post just reinforced my plan into a decision. Besides, I just received an offer here http://tinyurl.com/n5lnku that will let me save up to 60% of travel expenses. Will start packing on Friday...
