I have heard for Irian Jaya since I was born, but other than knowing that I have an uncle there, I have no clue what kinda place it is until now. Maybe a small town, but it has beautiful beaches and Islands. Unfortunately, I didnt manage to get to any of the Rajah Ampats Islands. Anycase, they all use Euros over there, USD is kinda a passe now....

Being adventurous, I really wanted to make a trip  down to Jayapura which is one of the nearest town to PNG, again, time is a limiting factor......Am already planning my trip there next year.

Sunset in Sorong beach has a calming effect for me. Kids are happy playing with water, boat and anything they can find. EVen adults are having fun in their own way. No beach parties, no loud music, no restaurants, but you can find a row of warungs (street stalls) infront of the beach.

Nothing big, but I was feeling attached to this place after a week of stay here.....ooh and theres no tourist........
