East Timor on the Web

East Timor Government. East Timor has a population of approximately 800,000 people. In May 2002, after 450 years of continuous foreign occupation, East Timor became the world's newest independent state. This site details the journey of this country and the surrounding ones. Discover Timor. If you want to know more about Timor, you have to go there. Many places have been ruined by commercialism, but not here. There are many links to highlights on the site like travel logs, feature trips, community projects, and other guides.
