If you dare to sample frogs, then the frog porridge stall along Jalan Alor is the place to be. Serving mainly frogs cooked in two different ways, you may have your frogs in porridge with sliced ginger, or have it cooked "kung pou" style. The "kung pou" style is just frogs cooked with dried chilli, hence it is rather spicy. It is not a porridge dish, but act as a complement to the frog porridge or plain porridge. Be warned that this dish could be rather spicy if you cannot take hot stuff! It is best to order a smaller portion and shared it amongst friends.

At this stall, you eat al fresco by the five-foot way on foldable tables and chairs. The place is not very clean, but it has all the ambience of a true Malaysian hawker scene. Last but not least, exotic meat like frogs are not very cheap in Malaysia, therefore, be ready to pay a higher price for the frog porridge, but the meal is simply delicious!

I do not know the name of the stall; doubt there is one. The stall is located towards the end of Jalan Alor on your right. You cannot miss it.
