Taking the waters takes on a whole new meaning in Japan. Relaxing in a hot spring is more than just about taking a bath. Water has always been a source of purifying to the Japanese, and soaking in scalding hot mineral waters are the favored way to spend a weekender or even devote a whole vacation to it.
