Kinkakuji, or The Golden Pavilion, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most exquisite temples and gardens in Japan Koto-in, a garden in the sub-temple of Daitokuji, is one of Kyoto's least visited and simple Japanese gardens. Tea ceremony room at Koto-in, a subtemple garden at Daitokuji. Maiko, or apprentice geisha, making the rounds of the Arashiyama district of Kyoto.
