It is unique to the city of Hong Kong but you will probably never find it on any postcards. Bamboo scaffolding is one of those common every day things that most people will not even notice while visiting Hong Kong but it’s everywhere. 

On our last trip to Hong Kong while walking in TST (Kowloon), my husband turned the corner, looked up and noticed a tall building covered by this amazing bamboo scaffolding structure. If you think about it, it’s so simple -- bound bamboo poles creating a really beautiful structure.
