Biographical Info:

Nguyen Qui Duc has been dividing his time between Vietnam and San Francisco, pursuing his writing and looking for a place to call home. He has written for several newspapers and journals and is the author of Where the Ashes Are: the Odyssey of a Vietnamese Family. His commentaries and reports can be heard on the BBC and National Public Radio. Duc was a writer in residence at Villa Montalvo in Saratoga, California.
