Biographical Info:

Robert Reid has updated a dozen guidebooks for Lonely Planet (including Southeast Asia, Myanmar and the Trans-Siberian Railway) and written for newspapers including The New York Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. In 2007 he launched a free online guidebook to Vietnam, with 180 pages of guidebook content and maps (www.reidontravel.com). He lived in Ho Chi Minh City in 1996-97. Now he lives in Brooklyn.
