Michel Gerard
Biographical Info:
Michel studied film making in the National French School Louis Lumière, in Paris and is graduated in Cinematography. After more than ten years experience in film and TV he decided in 1994 to begin a new career in Thailand and started to work on a Thai Feature film and commercials, as Director of Photography. He has worked afterwards on many corporate films and documentaries, as Script Writer and Director, and has worked also as Director of Photography for TV series broadcast on Thai TV Channel 3. Proficient in the Thai language, he translated a book of Thai poems "Thailand in Torment" in French and English that has been published in April 2000. Currently, he teaches Drama in a Thai bilingual school, works on book and translation projects, writes articles for magazines, and at time supervises the shooting of foreign films in Southeast Asia, as Foreign Executive Producer.
