I first visited Asia in 1990. It was a stopover in Kuala Lumpur on the way to realising a long cherished dream to visit Paris. I loved the night markets and the people. In 2000 I spent a week in Bali and once again I fell in love with the people. But my desire to go to Viet Nam had been in my dreams nearly as long as my one for Paris. Viet Nam completely changed my life and continues to seep into my everyday thoughts and actions. I dream of returning to the North....
