Biographical Info:

Since 2003, I have been 14 times to various parts of SE Asia. I've been to many parts of Thailand and to Vientiane and Luang Prabang, Laos and to Hanoi and Halong Bay, Vietnam. I love the urban pleasures of Bangkok, visiting temples and ruins, visiting museums and historical homes, shopping, getting frequent Thai massages, but I also like the wilder and less inhabited places and enjoy trekking through the jungle, sleeping overnight in a village hut, riding an elephant, walking in the early morning on pristine island beaches, canoeing in a lagoon, snorkeling, steaming in an herbal sauna in Luang Prabang, cruising up the Mekong on a boat for 2 days. I want to spend more time in each of these countries and to visit Cambodia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and at some point venture into India.

Savoury Thai cuisine in a casual modern chic urban setting. Wonderful service and fabulous food. This was recommended to me as a place where Thai people eat.
