Biographical Info:

In June 2000 the opportunity to travel came along and so Canadian Danyael Halprin packed up her life in Toronto and threw on her backpack for 10 months. Destination: Southeast and Central Asia. Several of Danyael's friends returned with great tales from their travels in Asia and so her fascination for this part of the world was born. During her journey she visited ancient ruins, knelt before Buddha, stood in awe of golden temples, rode in every mode of transportation imaginable, explored the world underwater and the secrets within caves. Danyael's indulgence is travel; she has also backpacked in South America, Europe and Israel. Before her nomadic life in Asia, Danyael edited and wrote for several Canadian publications; she is currently freelancing in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
