Albert was born in Guangzhou, China and grew up in Southeast Asia. After a stint as a chemical engineer and an MBA, he spent some time at a cpa firm. He and partner Lisa launched Destination:Vietnam in 1994, as Vietnam was reopening to the world. This lead to a web site which gradually evolved into today's ThingsAsian.
